Nine steps, and four of them share a tip
The series runs from 0.1 µL to 10 mL across nine models. The four middle ones —M20, M50, M100 and M200— take the same 200 µL tip, so moving between those steps does not change the consumable; the two smallest use a 10 µL tip and the three largest each carry their own (1000 µL, 5 mL and 10 mL).
The manufacturer's table states the error at three volumes per model, and that is where working low shows its cost: the M20 states ±0.9% at 20 µL and ±3% at 2 µL. Between two models that both reach your everyday volume, the table favors the one that keeps it closer to its maximum.
What separates it from the autoclavable series
The catalog does not declare it autoclavable: that statement belongs to the P, X and Y series. At nominal volume, the stated accuracy is the same as the P series from 50 µL up —identical row by row—; the differences show up in the smaller models and at the low point of each range.
If the protocol does not require sterilizing the instrument, the table does not penalize choosing it.
The increment follows the size
The adjustment step goes from 0.05 µL on the M2.5 to 0.1 mL on the M10000: each model adjusts in steps proportional to its range. A model short on resolution is not fixed at the dial; it is fixed by stepping down.
