Base, C, or two modules at once
The DB-100 is the plain block; the DB-100C adds cooling below ambient (from 15 °C under room temperature, settable from −5 °C) and multi-point operation; the DB100-2P mounts two modules at once, freely combined, at 200 W. All three store nine programs and share the 5 s to 23 h 59 min timer.
It states stability and homogeneity separately
±0.5 °C stability and ±0.5 °C homogeneity, with a 0.1 °C readout and 5.5 °C/min heating. They are two different figures and the catalog publishes both: how much the block drifts over time and how much it varies from one well to another.
Eleven blocks, nine of them interchangeable
The module chart runs from the 0.2 mL tube (96 positions) to the 50 mL conical, and includes 1.5 and 2.0 mL, 5 and 15 mL tubes, a flat plate for microplates, a cuvette module, aluminum beads and 2 mL cryovials; the flat plate and the beads come in fixed configuration. Custom modules are available (OEM).
